If you read my profile, there is a hint of it there: my kids are all grown; my youngest had her 18th birthday this past December, but all of them-including her since age 15-are out of the family abode for years now.
The year 2005-06 was the first year there was nobody home, when the last one left-and it is very, very hard.
In essence, they are pulling us to join them where they are. It's a distinct possibility...Lady-Lighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04992305067771885711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18251921.post-45303195753572333302007-04-11T22:47:00.000-04:002007-04-11T22:47:00.000-04:00F is our one and only. We knew I would have to work and she would be in daycare so we thought that it would be a nice balance for her to be in daycare during the day, where she would be with other kids and be socialized and not be the center of attention, but then come home at night to "my" mommy and daddy, "my" supper, "my" toys and bath and bed. It seems to have paid off; she's a great kid. Lots of friends but OK on her own too.

Although if we'd known how hard it would be to empty-nest all at once we might have had second thoughts.Laura(southernxyl)https://www.blogger.com/profile/02880277733341078157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18251921.post-22235319650092417282007-04-11T03:03:00.000-04:002007-04-11T03:03:00.000-04:00I had 36 hours of labor with my first child (also ...I had 36 hours of labor with my first child (also a girl,"M"), who was a posterior baby--back labor all the way--and I was also sent home the first time in the hospital with a 'false labor' charge.
