In honor of Hallowe'en, identify the poem:

Whenever there's moonlight, I dream about my beautiful dead wife. And the stars remind me of her eyes.

And the story:

He killed him because he thought his eye was gross.

I think the poem is "Lenore" or "Annabel Lee." The story is easy: "The Tell-tale Heart." If i'm right about the poem both are written by Poe.

"Lenore" is actually "The Raven".
