So a full week after the blood sample was taken - I am not kidding - it now is revealed that mono is in fact being had, in addition to having previously been had, which I strongly suspected.

When we look back, it appears that F must have had it for quite some time, b/c she's been battling fatigue and headache and so forth for a while.

Think she's turned the corner, though. We're going to go shopping in a moment so we can gauge how much strength she actually has right now. There's the possibility of her returning to work on Monday, for a half-day at least.

Mrs. Who told me not to have any more crises.

Shopping is a good test. I hope she is better soon.

Thanks.

She held up pretty well for the shopping, had a nap, and then we went to see "The Young Victoria" together. Getting her stuff ready to go back to her apartment today. She plans to try work tomorrow.

We'll hope for the best.

Yes, I did tell you not to have any more. Why are you disobeying directions? You must follow the teacher's rules!

Hope the shopping expedition goes well, with many items bought, and happy faces coming home.

That is not a fun illness to have--wishing her well. My sister had it the first semester of college (horrible!), and then my mom (!) had it the following summer. Although it kind of worked out well for Mom because she started sending Dad's shirts out to be cleaned and pressed, and that continued even after she was well again. Hee.

How did you like the movie???

We loved the movie. Both entertaining and historically accurate.

She's back home now, and actually worked part of the day today. We'll see how it goes.

A lot of critics treated that movie harshly, but it seemed interesting to me. Maybe I'll rent it.

A day at a time, F; each day gets a little better.
