I read your comment over at Isaac Schrödinger's website. I have been married 23 years and I have a 19 year old daughter in college, too...and we really miss her alot. I guess I would call myself an xsouthernxyl, because I used to live in Virginia, and now I live in Yankitopia. bleargh.

We've wondered what we would do if the company I work for closes the local facility. There are some facilities in New England and places like that, and there's a gnat's whisker of a chance that I would be offered a spot ... but I don't think I would fit in "up there". Or my family. My daughter would have a fit.
