I'm pretty sure F never reads my blog. So I'm posting the self-portrait she drew on her tablet PC when, smack in the middle of reading the latest Harry Potter tome, she came to a startling realization: that after 4 years of Latin in high school...

I'm impressed that Latin is still being taught in some high schools.
Yes, it helped her already stong English skills quite a bit; that, and the semester-long course in etymology that the honors students had to take.
